The MSP Challenge is a hands-on marine spatial planning workshop played on a large-format physical board. Participants take on roles —fishing, administration, energy, conservation— and negotiate, with no winners or losers, a shared and sustainable use of the sea.
Developed with Breda University of Applied Sciences and backed by UNESCO-IOC, the game conveys, in an experiential way, the dilemmas of marine governance and the goal of protecting 30% of the sea by 2030.
- Large-format physical board (2,000+ pieces)
- Cooperative role-play (12–30 participants)
- Flexible sessions: from one hour to several days
- Facilitated by SeaWilding
